I posted awhile back about the contest ShareYoga was having this month – write a Haiku and possibly win a pink Yogitoes towel.  I submitted for fun, hoped for the best, and Won!  The rules required you to follow the rhythm of a traditional Japanese Haiku, and incorporate an animal and something about yoga in it.  This was my entry:

swan in still water
calm beating heart and clear mind
yoga, my refuge

Right when I was falling in love with my only yogitoes towel, I get one for free – this is greaaat news… thank you again ShareYoga!  I look forward to more of your posts and future contests.

ShareYoga is hosting a contest this month that involves writing a yoga-related haiku.  I wasn’t going to do it at first, but then I had a change of heart and figured I might as well try – what have I got to lose?  The winner of the most creative yoga haiku wins a pink Yogitoes towel!  A yogitoes towel is placed over a mat to give added traction and prevent slippage.  It’s worth $55!
